F.A.Q.

Below are some Frequently Asked Questions about the Upside Down Network:

Is the Network incorporated as a non-profit? Yes

Is the Network trying to form another denomination? No.  We have no desire to form a denomination or do away with Denominations.  We simply want to walk along beside those groups will let us to help their planters become trained, resourced, and ready to plant a new church.  We encourage the Network churches to honor the contracts they have with their denomination first.

How long does a church have to pay back 10%? Each partnership is different.  If the Network helped start the church totally, then the church is expected to pay back 10% of it’s income as long as the church is in existence.  Some churches will sign up for a shorter time as well.  It is really an agreement to invest in church planting for the future.  It is not binding and is not even considered a contract.

Where do you draw the lines in accepting partners? This network is built more on relationships than anything else.  However, we do seek to find partners who are like minded in methodology, philosophy, and doctrinally.  Not necessarily in that order.
